Vision and Mission

God's love bestowed on everyone is experienced and responsibly shared in a unique way with everyone. Montfort school community at Ambikapur envisions to transmit this message of God's love in and around the school through its presence and educational activities aiming at all round development of the individual as taught by their founder St. Louis Marie de Montfort.

Montfort school aims at translating the vision through the care, love and freedom bestowed on every student. The institution teaches the students to share this experience through education in the school as responsible individuals and citizens of India and the world.

The Montfortian mission is to help the young develop into upright, creative and loyal citizens imbued with love and concern for others, spiritual sensitivity and a sense of personal freedom, liberty of thought, expression, belief, faith and worship, equality of status and of opportunity and fraternity assuring the dignity of the individual and the personality and earn a living, and contribute to the economic, social, political, and cultural progress of the nation.

The school is a place for the integral formation of persons by means of a systematic and critical assimilation of culture. This vital approach takes place in the school in the form of personal contacts and commitment which considers absolute values in a life context and seeks to insert them into a life frame work. The school stimulates the meaning of his experiences and their truths. Any schools which neglects this duty and which offers merely pre-cast conclusions hinder the personal development of its students.

Montfortian education, in a particular, aims to prepare the students for a life that is worth living. As individuals and members of the society, the students need to be helped to develop qualities of the mind and heart as well as basic skills and attitudes. To achieve this, the Montfortian education system is designed as person oriented, social or the other oriented, professional or work oriented, national or citizen oriented and universal brotherhood and international understanding oriented.
